As part of the commitment of Enugu State Government to reduce youth unemployment in the state, Ministry of Youth and Sports in partnership with Startup Hub is organizing Enugu Youth Enterprise Day with the theme: Promoting Youth Entrepreneurial Culture in Enugu State
. With high rate of unemployment in Nigeria, Enugu Youth Enterprise Day will provide a viable alternative for young people in the State to embrace entrepreneurship and become self-employed.
Enugu Youth Enterprise Day is an annual gathering of young and aspiring entrepreneurs in Enugu State, where Policymakers, Professionals, Industry Experts, Investors, Researchers, and Entrepreneurs collaborate to drive sustainable economic growth in the state through youth entrepreneurship development. The program will feature as a key national event for the 2015 Global Entrepreneurship Week in Nigeria.
GLOBAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP WEEK (GEW) is a week in November of every year to promote and celebrate creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship all over the world. In Nigeria, Startup Hub is a Global Entrepreneurship Week partner. As the world celebrates innovation and creativity as part of the 2015 Global Entrepreneurship Week, Enugu State Ministry of Youth and Sports in partnership with Startup Hub will bring Global Entrepreneurship Week event to Enugu State through the hosting of the 2015 Enugu Youth Enterprise Day.
